Easy background!

This card was so quick and easy to create, sometimes super simple is just what you need.  I just prettied up the cardstock using Spectrum Noir Aqua Blend and Sparkle and Crafter's Companion stamps to make my own background.

Hello April!

I wanted to try something different using some of the Crafter's Companion Vintage Tea Party dies, and an Easel Card die.  My Easter day crafting resulted in this, what do you think?

A Beautiful Journey!

I decided to experiment with Spectrum Noir Sparkle and Sheena Douglass Paint Fusion together.

First I created the back ground using the water-coloring technique with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens on Sheena's Mountboard shape.  After it dried I stamped 3 daisies and then painted them using the 'paint fusion' technique.  I was hoping that the blue background would bleed through into the white acrylic paint and it did!  I realize normally you don't want this, but I wanted to give the flowers some blue color and I'm pleased with the results.

Big Bright Happy Birthday!

I decided to use some bright colors when I started 'frosting' my cupcakes using Spectrum Noir Sunshine Yellow Sparkle!  The embossing folder and die cuts are all from Crafter's Companion and I find myself reaching for them again and again.  Who doesn't like a cupcake?
