3D Gift Bag

This die set is a must-have! How often do you need a gift bag? With the new 3D Gift Bag die set from Scrappy Boy Stamps, you can create custom gift bags in any theme you desire. It's super easy to put together, and I recommend using heavy cardstock for the actual bag.

For my project, I designed a princess-themed bag. I really loved the included bow and pocket dies, and I used characters from the Cinderella stamp set as embellishments.

Coffee and Sarcasm!

My project today features a digital tag image from STAMPlorations.  This was a bonus tag set from one of the other digital images I purchased.  It was a full-page 8 1/2 x 11 with five individual images - a great deal.

This was a quick project because I knew I wanted to use color pencils.  I printed the image on Neenah Bright White and grabbed my pencils.

Once I had my coloring done I chose the cardstock colors: black, pink, and purple.  I used Whimsy Stamps die set to cut my layers.  For the sentiment, I used Clearly Besotted, "Laugh Out Loud Coffee" stamp collection.  I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock using Tsukineko Versa Fine Clair Nocturne and mounted it on purple cardstock.

Honestly, I do run on coffee and sarcasm!

The Great Bake Off!

I'm excited to share one of the new March releases from Scrappy Boy Stamps: "Things That Go Bump." This fantastic collection is perfect for those who enjoy a touch of spookiness. It includes everything you need to create amazing cards or paper embellishments.

I started by die-cutting out the mug and the eyes, eyelids, and lashes. This die set is from Pixi Dust Designs.  I decided pink was my color of choice for this project.  I like the biggest set of eyes and found the coordinating pieces to make flirty eyes.

Next, I used Distress Ink in Festive Berries to darken the eyelids and create a darker edge around the mug. I die-cut the coffee, lips, and the mug handle, but then decided I wanted the handle to be the same color as the mug.

Once the mug face was completed, I moved on to create the card base.

I used leftover scrap papers from Photo Play's "Snowball Fight" and Simple Stories' "Sunkissed," along with black, white, and pink cardstock. The sentiment stamp from My Favorite Things’ "Coffee and Conversation" stamp set felt like a perfect match for this fun mug face.

Coffee & Books!

Today, I am sharing my card featuring stamps from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This proper cat gentleman really spoke to me, especially because I always enjoy a coffee and a good book. The cat was colored using Olo Markers.

When I start a project, I often have no idea what direction it will take. I enjoy figuring it out as I go along. While searching through my stash for coffee ring paper, I couldn’t find any, so I decided to create my own using a coffee mug and Distress Oxide Vintage Photo ink. It turned out a bit messy, but it will work.

Choosing patterned paper is always a fun experience. I like to experiment with different options until I find one that feels just right, which usually means my desk is covered in piles of paper. In the end, I chose a design from Newton's Nook Coffee Shop pad.

The sentiment stamped on the coffee paper was too faint, so I decided to stamp it on cardstock instead and then back it with patterned paper. To enhance the card, I added a couple of embellishments, including a shaker cup and a book. The mini shakers contain Cup of Love sprinkles from Kat Scrapiness.

Today, I want to share the fabulous coffee mini album I created. Scrappy Boy Stamps offers a Coffee Mini Album die set that makes it incredibly easy to assemble this album. The set includes all the necessary pieces, and they cut beautifully. If you decide not to create a mini album, no worries—you can easily use the die set for other paper crafting projects.

I wanted the coffee mug to be a focal point, so I created a little pouch to hold coffee shaker elements. I used the We R Memory Keepers fuse tool along with a scrapbook page protector for this. I cut out the coffee cup shape from the scrapbook protector, then used the fuse tool to seal the sides together, leaving the top open for filling. Once filled, I fused the top closed, added the other mug die-cut pieces, and glued it onto the album.

I used ribbon to bind my album together, and this does allow you to flip to the other pages if you wish. 

Now it's time for a coffee break!

This new collection release from Scrappy Boy Stamps, Ham it Up, has certainly gotten my attention. I am in love with these piglets, and the sentiment dies - pig perfect! The coordinating paper is so bright and fun - perfect for your piglet friends!
