Currently, there are no additional Mystery Boxes available at Scrappy Boy Stamps. But I wanted to share my creations to inspire others' creativity. The August 2026 boxes were a HUGE success!
Scrappy Boy Stamps has done it again with another fantasic release for July: Bound by Magic! This collection has witchy-themed papers and wonderful witchy characters. You'll also can create your own spellbook and a secret spell room!
All images are colored using Olo Markers, and all paper products used are sourced from the Bouny By Magic 6x9 paper pack.
Birthdays are always better with cake... even if it looks like it's getting a little out of control! Today I'm sharing this fun and whimsical birthday card featuring the Smokin' Hot Heroes stamp set, Forever 29 stamp set, and the Bundle of Wishes Layering Die Set from Pajama Crafter Stamps. The playful scene is perfect for celebrating someone who's "Forever 29" and still knows how to have a good laugh!
Creating the Focal Point
The adorable firefighter kids are racing in to save the day as an oversized birthday cake bursts into flames! I colored the images with OLO alcohol markers, using bright reds, cheerful pinks, yellows, and browns
Don't be afraid to cut off or add to stamped images. I decided to customize the cake from the Forever 29 Stamp Set by removing the top tier and original candle. In its place, I used the layered candles from the Bundle of Wishes Layering Die Set. This simple alteration gave the cake extra height and made it feel even more festive.
To make the candles really shine, I colored the die-cut pieces with Grabie Glitter Markers in shades of yellow, blue, and red. The glitter catches the light beautifully, while the sparkling candle flames add just the right finishing touch.
Building the Background
To complement the birthday theme, I layered festive patterned papers from the Birthday Bash paper pack featuring colorful candles and bright polka dots. Foam adhesive squares were placed behind the firefighters, ladder, candles, and cake to add plenty of dimension and bring the entire scene to life. The angled "Forever 29" sentiment ties everything together with a fun, lighthearted finish that's sure to make the birthday recipient smile.
Mixing Stamps and Dies
One of my favorite things about card making is combining stamps and dies to create unique scenes. By mixing products from different stamp sets and adding a few custom touches, you can easily create a one-of-a-kind design. This card would be perfect for anyone celebrating a milestone birthday—or for that friend who insists they're celebrating their "29th" birthday year after year!

Keep your eyes peeled for inspiration from the entire Pajama Crafter Stamps design team throughout the week for dino-fun!
Sometimes we all need a little reminder to keep going, and what better way to deliver that encouragement than with an adorable dinosaur and a giant travel cup? This playful card combines bold die cuts, bright colors, and a fun sentiment to create a project that's sure to bring a smile to someone's face.
Choosing the Design
When I saw the Adult Sippy Cup Die Set, I immediately thought it would pair perfectly with this lovable dino from the Closer To Extinction Stamp Set. The oversized cup becomes more than just an accessory—it helps tell the story behind the sentiment, "Keep on Chuggin', You Got This." Whether you're encouraging a friend through a difficult week, celebrating a milestone, or simply sending a smile, this card is perfect for lifting someone's spirits.
Creating the Cup
The travel cup was die-cut from the Adult Sippy Cup die set. I decided to layer it and use several shades of cardstock to achieve a realistic look. I used:
Dark teal for the cup base
Gray for the main body
White for the handle, straw, and accent strip
Layering the pieces together creates dimension while keeping the design clean and modern. Adding the "Adult Sippy Cup" sentiment to the cup gives it a humorous touch that perfectly complements the playful dinosaur.
Coloring the Dinosaur
The adorable dinosaur was colored with Olo Markers using several shades of green, teal, and light blue. To add depth, I used darker greens in the shadows and highlighted the scales with lighter colors. Brown was added to the claws for a finishing touch.
This image is full of personality, and the expressive eyes make him the perfect character to deliver an encouraging message.
Building the Background
To keep the focus on the dinosaur, I chose patterned green dinosaur footprint paper for the background. Behind the image, I layered two stitched circles:
A bright yellow circle to add warmth and contrast
A soft blue circle with white splatters to create a playful backdrop
These simple layers help the focal image stand out without overwhelming the design.
Finishing the Card
After arranging the travel cup and dinosaur with foam adhesive for extra dimension, I added the sentiment in the upper corner. The raised elements give the finished card wonderful depth while keeping the overall layout balanced.
I love how the oversized cup peeks out from behind the dinosaur, creating a fun scene that feels both whimsical and encouraging.
Whether you're sending this to a friend who's working toward a goal, recovering from a challenge, or simply needs a little pick-me-up, this card is sure to brighten their day.
This new collection, A Spoonful of Sweetness, from Scrappy Boy Stamps is truly amazing! The creative possibilities are really endless. All my projects are made with Scrappy Boy products; the only extra is the Olo markers I used to color.
Shark Week, and what better way to celebrate than with a card that's packed with personality! Today I'm sharing a playful card featuring Pajama Craft Stampers' sharks from the Happy Flappy Stamp Set and a bold sentiment from the Die Cut Sentiment Set Dang, Whoa, Yikes! Word and Shadow Dies. Bright colors, simple ink blending, and a little bit of dimension come together to create a scene that's both fun and eye-catching.
Creating Your Own Embellishment
I hand-cut the shark shape from two tones of gray cardstock. The inside of the mouth was cut from bright red cardstock, while the sharp white teeth were created by trimming small triangles from white cardstock and adhering them along the jawline. The giant shark got some Distress Oxide ink blending to add texture. Seeing that giant open mouth instantly sets the playful Shark Week theme!
Coloring the Sharks
The sharks were stamped onto smooth white cardstock and colored with Olo markers. I used neutral gray, lavender, and blue tones, then added tiny white highlights with a gel pen to give them a shimmering underwater appearance. Each shark was cut out and popped up with foam adhesive to create extra dimension.
Adding the Finishing Touches
The bold WHOA, from the die set Whoa, Yikes! Word and Shadow Dies immediately grabs your attention and perfectly captures the excitement of the scene. I layered the red word over a navy shadow for extra depth and adhered it near the top of the card.
To finish everything off, I added the "sea-riously" sentiment from the Happy Flappy Stamp Set near the bottom, balancing the design while adding a fun pun that ties the entire card together.
Cardmaking Tip
When creating scene cards, don't be afraid to let your images overlap and create some of your own unique embellishments. Popping a few elements up with foam adhesive creates depth and makes the design feel much more dynamic. The layered sharks look like they're swimming right past the giant shark, bringing the entire card to life.
Whether you're celebrating Shark Week, making a birthday card, or simply sending a smile to a friend, this playful design is sure to make a splash!

I hope this card inspires you to create your own shark adventure. Have fun creating colorful images and playful sentiments to create a sea-riously unforgettable card!
Sometimes the best cards are the ones that bring a smile before they're even opened! This fun card features everyone's favorite huggable healthcare companion alongside two adorable friends, creating the perfect scene to brighten someone's day. This is a stamp set from the NEW JULY Release!!
The layered window design adds depth and interest while the soft patterned paper keeps the focus on the sweet stamped images. Colored with alcohol markers and popped up with foam adhesive, the characters really come to life. The sentiment, "Sending You a Big Puffy Hug," is the perfect finishing touch for a card that's sure to encourage a friend, family member, or anyone who could use a little extra kindness.
Whether you're creating a get-well card, an encouragement card, or simply sending a note to let someone know you're thinking of them, this design is a wonderful reminder that handmade cards can deliver hugs from miles away.
There is something extra special about receiving a handmade birthday card. Knowing someone took the time to create something just for you makes birthdays even more memorable. Today I'm sharing this cheerful A2 Trio Fold Card featuring the adorable Chip Chip Hooraystamp set from Pajama Crafter Stamps.
Choosing the Products
Who doesn't love potato chips? The Chip Chip Hooraystamp set is packed with personality, turning ordinary potato chips into the happiest little characters. From the moment I saw this set, I knew I wanted to create a card with lots of dimension, making it look like the chips were celebrating together at a birthday party.
To create the base, I used an A2 Trio Fold Die, which allowed me to display the chip characters on different levels. For the patterned paper, I chose bright birthday balloons and colorful confetti designs layered onto a dark denim cardstock base. The bold colors really help the playful images stand out and give the card a festive party feel.
Coloring the Images
I wanted my potato chips to have a realistic look with plenty of texture, so I reached for my Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils and colored the images on Neenah Bright White cardstock. The pencils made it easy to build soft layers of color, giving each chip those uneven golden edges that resemble real potato chips.
To add even more variety, I colored a couple of the chips as BBQ chips using shades of cream, warm browns, and touches of red. The different colors make the group of characters even more fun and interesting.
The adorable bowl of dip became the focal point of the card. I colored the bowl in bright blues and added subtle shading to the creamy dip.
Creating the Card
Once everything was colored and cut out, it was time for my favorite part—assembling the card! I used adhesive foam pop dots to give the characters different heights, creating lots of dimension across the trio fold design.
The chip-and-dip image sits front and center on a bright red circle, making it the perfect focal point. I arranged the remaining chip characters around the card so they look like they're joining the birthday celebration. One is carrying a present while the others are happily waving, adding even more personality to the finished design.
To finish the card, I stamped the sentiments on yellow cardstock and mounted them with foam adhesive. The bold "Chip Chip Hooray!" sentiment paired with "It's Your Birthday!" ties the entire theme together for a fun, whimsical birthday card that's sure to bring a smile.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this cheerful Chip Chip Hooraybirthday card inspires you to create a fun, dimensional card for someone special. Don't be afraid to mix bright patterned papers, lots of layers, and playful coloring to make your projects come to life.

Nothing says summer to me more than swimming in the ocean! The sights, the colors, and the peaceful feeling of being underwater inspired today's card project featuring the Mother Puffer Stamp Setfrom Pajama Crafter Stamps.
Choosing Color and Texture
For my adorable puffer fish, I used Olo Markers in shades BG7.0, BG7.2, and BG7.3 to create a soft, underwater look. To make the background, I reached for white watercolor cardstock and a wood embossing folder to create the appearance of weathered pier posts.
Next, I blended several Distress Inks over the embossed paper to achieve a worn, watery effect. Once the ink was dry, I added Artistrol Metallic Watercolor Paints, giving the surface a beautiful shimmer that mimics sunlight dancing beneath the waves. I especially loved how the metallic paints settled into the wood grain, adding extra texture and dimension.
Card Assembly
After the paper had completely dried, I cut the embossed pieces into individual posts and began layering them onto my card background. To create lots of depth—and to mimic the movement of water around the posts—I used multiple adhesive pop dots at varying heights.
To complete the underwater scene, I added adhesive pearls, along with starfish and sand dollar die cuts. The combination of textures and layers really brings the scene to life, and up close, you can truly appreciate all the dimensions.,
Working with watercolor cardstock
Using white watercolor cardstock with the embossing folder created a wonderfully deep and crisp impression. The cardstock also handled the inks and paints beautifully, allowing the watercolors and Distress Inks to blend seamlessly without leaving unwanted water streaks.
