Hello JACK!

Today I'm sharing my rendition of Dustin Pike's Jack in the Box digi stamp available at WHIMSY STAMPS. I made this into a tag thinking it would be perfect to tuck into a gift bag.

I made the faded dotted background using the stencil Comic Half-Tone from Whimsy stamps and a dye ink from My Favorite Things.  I placed the stencil randomly over the base to get a more mixed up dotted look.

Jack was colored using Copic Markers and a white gel pen!

Farm Life!

Sweet Sentiment Stamps  - July Release is here!

I'm sharing creations using only three of the four new release sets so pop in and see ALL the July release here!

This set, FARM LIFE, is one of my favorites of this release.  How can you resist these little 'farmers' doing chores?  The image was colored with Copic markers and I used the Farm Life metal slices (dies) too for the chicken girl and the sentiment.
The hen house was adapted from an svg file and I think it works perfectly.

This set is called CLUCK IT!  There was no resisting this set with it's snarky name and crazy farm critters.  The sentiment really says it all!  The images were colored with Prismacolor Pencils on Sweet Sentiment Kraft Coloring paperI love using pencils on this paper it makes blending a breeze!  Once again I used the coordinating Cluck It metal Sweet Slices (dies).

This set is named perfectly - MOO!  I was so excited when I saw this adorable fluffy highland cow stamp set.  Personally I think they are just adorable and if I could I'd  have one as a pet - but having the stamp set works our much better.  The image was colored using Copic Markers and of course, the Moo Sweet Slices, made cutting out this cutie super easy.

Crazy!

It's time for some fun with Whimsy Stamps!

This is the adorable little digital stamp Cinnamon Paints along with digital background paper from paper pack Rustic Wood and BricksThe deep blue wood grain really caught my eye so I decided that Cinnamon needed to paint with blues so it would coordinate with the paper.  All coloring was done with Copic Markers.

I used the Word Die Crazy along with the border die from Shaker Maker Combo die set.  I love die cuts and they work great with digital stamps and papers too!

I wanted to see some texture on the colored blue rainbow so I used some rubbing  alcohol on a tiny bit of cloth - I decided that I like that easy technique.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to add some WHIMSY to your life!

Feel Better!

We all know someone who is feeling sick (well probably).  A cheerful card may just brighten their day so why not create one and send it off?  This was created using La-La Land Crafts Club kit from February 2016.  I discovered this kit on ebay and I fell in love with the bandage and the tissue box stamps along with the dies and of course, Marci, so I decided I had to add this to my collection.  My La-La Land crafts addiction just keeps going...
