Today I’m sharing a spooky Halloween card featuring the Flower Child and Where My Ghouls At? stamp sets from Pajama Crafter Stamps. I had so much fun giving this sweet flower girl a fun Halloween makeover!
I began by stamping the images using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Since I wanted to create a Halloween-themed card, I replaced the flowers in her headband with tiny pumpkins. When coloring, don't forget to change up her top and shoes for a spookier look. I stamped several pumpkins to have plenty for coloring, cutting out, and layering. Additionally, I stamped the adorable cat wearing a witch hat.
For the card base, I created a simple frame using two square dies. I ensured there was enough space between the dies to form a nice border. Next, I added double-sided foam adhesive to the back of the frame before attaching it to the patterned paper. This gave the frame added dimension and helped create a fun layered look.
After coloring and cutting out all of my images, I replaced the flowers on the Flower Child’s headband with the tiny pumpkins. I added Nuvo Glitter Drops to the pumpkins for a little extra sparkle. I also used Stickles on the cat’s witch hat to give it some fun Halloween shimmer.
Next, I placed the Flower Girl along the outside of the frame and added the cat and pumpkins inside the card. The different layers and foam adhesive give the scene lots of dimension.
To finish the card, I added the YIKES sentiment from the Dang, Whoa, Yikes Word and Shadow die set at the top. It was the perfect spooky sentiment for this fun Halloween design!
This was such a fun way to turn the Flower Child stamp into a Halloween character. A few pumpkins, a little sparkle, and an adorable witchy cat were all it took to create a wickedly fun Halloween card!
