Fall Colors!

Today I'm sharing one of the newer digi stamps from Some Odd Girl, Lounge Fairy.  She is colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  The way her head is tilted reminds of me someone listening to a secret.

The November challenge in the community at Some Odd Girl runs until November 30.  Plenty of time to enter into the Anything ODD Goes challenge!

The chill is in the air!

Everyone needs to be prepared for the chilly evenings and mornings.  I started with Some Odd Girl's Feathered Friends digi and then added on their hats and mitten using the Hats and Gloves digi set.  Now they are ready to face the cold.

I merged the hats and gloves using Silhouette software.  Naturally it required a few tweeks, but it worked and I printed it.  This was colored using Copic Markers B00, B21, B95, B23, B91; Y12, Y35, Y38, Y18;YR16, YR27; R24; RV69; YG06.

Another newbie at the Some Odd Girl Store, Mae and Kaylee Selfie digi stamp. I used Prismacolor pencils and Copic markers on this and I'm super happy with how it turned out.

Happy Harvest!

I did this with Prismacolor pencils.  I so rarely color anything other than whimsical things, it was a really nice change. This digi stamp is from Power Poppy!

The Spirit of Autumn!

Looking for fall colors?  Here you go with this digi stamp from Some Odd Girl, called Spirit of Autumn.  I have to admit the colors I used are NOT my go to colors. I had to think out of my box!  She's one of the new digis recently released.

Kristy is releasing something new each week now so you will want to check out the NEW page in the SOG Shop.

Jacket season?

We have had the most glorious start to November in Illinois with weather in the 60's.  I know it won't last, but every warmer day makes those below zero temps that are coming easier to deal with.

I was playing with Prismacolor pencils again with stamps from The Greeting Farm.  Thought I would share how they turned out.  I'm starting to feel a bit more comfortable with pencils, but I have much practice ahead!

Markers vs Pencils

I love Copic markers, and Prismacolor pencils.  I've been using Copics for a while now and feel I more comfortable with them.  I've goofed with pencils over the years, but over the last couple of months I have really gotten into them.

Copics are so smooth, where as pencils leave a rougher look.  I like both, but I'm wondering which you like better?
