All Dogs Matter!

All dogs DO matter, mustache or not.  This Vera Lane Studio digi image is colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The mustache, well I felt he might like one!

Distressed it!

I love seeing projects where they have used distress inks for the background, but being a true paper hoarder I feel I should use that.  Well TA-DAH I finally decided to try it.  This is my first attempt so it's not quite a perfect blend but I like the results.   My hoarded patterned papers just may get a little dustier.

Baby it's cold outside!

Taking a break from all the holiday activities to do a little creating.  I used Some Odd Girl's digi stamp Snowman for my shaker card.  It's hard to see my light shading, guess I need to be a bit more heavy handed.

Wiener Dog!

I wanted to share this adorable Doxie stamp from Some Odd Girl called Holiday Pup. I colored this with Prismacolor pencils.  It's a simple card, but it works.

Proper Holiday Attire!

I needed a special tag for a special friend and this digi from Vera Lane Studio is perfect. I used Prismacolor pencils and I'm really happy with how it turned out.  The image just makes me giggle!

Hopefully I'm all done with holiday cards and tags.  I think so...but you never know what might happen.

Holiday magic!

Sharing some Holiday Spirit!  This card features Some Odd Girl digi stamp Christmas Tree Mae and the gingerbread men are from clear set Gingerbread Kaylee.

I used both Prismacolor pencils and Copic markers for this.  I really like how it turned out, but it took me a LONG time to figure out the folds for this card!

Laughing all the way....

This is a brand new digi over at Some Odd Girl, Christmas Prank digi.  When you purchase it you get 3 separate digis, one with the whole gang, one with just the laughing bird, and one with the bird decorating and porcupine. That way you can use it for non holiday stuff too!

It's Snowing!

Snow day fun for me doesn't involve being out in the snow, but hiding inside while I watch the snow fall.  I don't particularly like winter, but watching the snow fall while coloring made it tolerable.

Colored on two new digi stamps available at Some Odd Girl, Blankie Tobie and Tia Bear.  I'm determined to get better with blending and control with my pencils.  This time I used a Comic Manga Illustration paper which has a lot of tooth.  Maybe too much?  It's hard to know when I'm so used to the slick X-Press It paper.  I love blending with pencils, maybe more than with Copics, which is amazing because I never thought I'd find something I liked better.

Christmas Mice!

I adore this little mouse stamp set, Let's Mingle, from The Greeting Farm.  I actually colored them a while ago and am just getting around to make a gift tag with them.  I knew I wanted to have them with a Christmas tree, I just wasn't sure how I'd work them together.  Then it came to be that they should be peeking out of the tree.

I really like to create tags since they are so easy to hang on a gift bag.  I'm a gift bag kinda girl, I hate gift wrapping!

I'm entering this into the Farm Fresh Challenge 'Sparkle' at The Greeting Farm.  It was a challenge to get the glitter to actually show in the picture but TA-DAH it does.
