Some Odd Girl Holiday FUN!

I love to color especially whimsical images.  The following cards are stamps from Some Odd Girl, colored with Spectrum Noir Markers.  I guess you can say I was in a festive mood!

Stamps include Mini Elf Digi Stamp, Too Big Tia Digi Stamp, and Tree Tobie Digi Stamp.

Circle cut out Fairy Card!

I decided to create a circle cut out card and incorporate some of the Crafter's Companion Enchanted Forest products.

This was something I made up as I was making it.  I started out using Spectrum Noir Watercolour Paper cut into 5/12 x 5/12 squares.  Then I cut circles out of the center of each card starting with the large circle and progressing smaller for the following pages.

Using Spectrum Noir Harmony Inks I blended both the front and the back of each 'page' of the card and also created a side binding that I inked as well.

Next I stamped onto each card being sure to use the Spectrum Noir Finesse Water Proof Ink to create the background images.

Once it was all dry I adhered the pages to the binder side and then added my die cut embellishments.  It was super easy and a list of all the products is below.  This is a perfect card for my niece.

O'Christmas Trees!

This card was created using just a few Crafter's Companion products.  When the sides are folded together they create one red tree.  This photo shows the card open.  This is so easy to make and requires just a few products!

Ready for our annual Trick or Treating event with the Odd Girls? Let's go...

Enchanted Forest!

Crafter's Companion is bringing Sara Signature Enchanted Forest to HSN on November 9.  This is a great bundle with many additional pieces you can add on.  Here is a peek at a card I made.

I used Harmony inkpads (Plum Pudding & Lagoon) blended with water to create the background on Spectrum Noir Watercolor paper.

I used Enchanted Forest Luxury Cardstocks for the side bases and again for the front of the card.  The front of the card is the die from the Wisteria Window Create-a-card die set.

I stamped the Enchanted Forest Believe stamp on the background using Spectrum Noir Finesse Black inkpad.

The other pieces were all cut from Enchanged Forest dies and added onto the card to create a little scene.   I used pop dots and folder paper behind the diecuts to give it a multi layer look.

A Twist on one of the 'Adorables Summer Collection"!

These new stamp and die sets coming to HSN Oct. 9, named ADORABLES are just that - Adorable!!  This card features the Planting Wishes set.

Doing something a little different I decided to create my own background.  If you are feeling less adventurous you can use the paper pad that is included in the bundle for your backgrounds.

Spectrum Noir NEW Metallic Markers!

Love the look of Metallic?  Then you are going to flip over the new Spectrum Noir Midas Inkpad line and new Metallic markers.   The colors are so vibrant!

Here is my practice sheet.  I stamped the butterflies in the Silver Midas ink and used the metallic markers to color in some areas.  These are ALL NEW marker colors being released on HSN Oct. 9.

Sew Lovely!!

This new Sara Signature collection from Crafter's Companion hit HSN on September 11.  I'm finally getting a chance to share a couple of my samples.

Crafter's Advent Calendar!!

I would never have believed you could put something better than chocolates in an advent calendar, but Sara has! Crafter's Companion has created this amazing advent calendar and behind each day is a new DIE.

This card was created using 4 calendar days worth of dies. Don't tell but I did opene all the little doors in order to make some samples to share!

Peek in the Window!

The Sara Signature Winter's Tale collection is brilliant!  This is probably one of my favorite from this collection, the embossing folder, die, and stamp set Winter View.

You can use this like you are outside looking in or using the other stamps that come with the set you could make your card look like you are inside looking out.

To give the window a little more depth I actually die cut out 4 window frames and using pop up adhesive adhered them together to create a lifted window.

The Christmas tree was stamped on white paper and colored using Spectrum Noir Markers. The background around the tree was inked with Distress Ink.

The brick wall was embossed on kraft paper, and then I added some Distress Inks to bring out the brick pattern and add some color.

Gemini Create-a-Card Christmas Spirit!

Coming to HSN on September 11 is this wonderful Create-a-Card set from Crafter's Companion.  This is so easy to create, yet looks like it took ages to do.  The card smashes flat so it can be mailed in an envelope too.

When creating the background I used Spectrum Noir Harmony Inks Silent Night and Plum Pudding (also on HSN September 11).  They blended wonderfully and with a spritz of water I got a night sky affect.

You get everything you need to create this card all in one die set.
