New at Some Odd Girl is digi Wrapped Piper.  She works for holiday wrapping as well as birthday, wedding, or... 

I colored her using Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils.  I'm constantly practicing my blending and color combos. The best part about practicing is that it's always relaxing and fun.

Blend them together!

I had some quiet time for coloring and I wanted to share what I've done.  Both images are new digi stamps from Some Odd Girl, and both were colored with a combination of Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencils, Spectrum Noir Illustrators, and Spectrum Noir Markers.  

I really like to play with color and with the Spectrum Noir products it is so easy to do that.  I hope this will encourage you to give it a try.  Remember practicing coloring is really the most fun anyway!

All that is required is that you share daily in the appropriate photo album a SOG image you colored for the day. You don't have to have a completely colored project, partially colored images will work just as well. We just want to see that you colored something SOG (digi or clear stamp).

The coloring challenge runs from Dec. 1st - 12th, but you will have until Dec. 17th to complete all the coloring you started! Again, we aren't looking for completed projects on the 17th just fully colored images shared in the Facebook Community and in the appropriate photo album.

Wild Rose

I just wanted to share another Spectrum Noir ColourTint Graphite pencils coloring.  The stamps used are from Crafter's Companion - Sheena Wild Rose.  You can get the pencils and the stamps on HSN!

Reindeer Games!

I wanted to join Challenge #221 from Art Impressions, theme Tag It!  I used Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers, ColourBlend pencils, and a Crafter's Companion die to create the bauble tag.  

ColourTint Graphite Pencils!

Over the hills and through the woods!  I love this stamp set from Crafter's Companion called Jingle Joy (available at HSN).  Great for Christmas cards!

I colored the stamped image using the wonderful new ColourTint Graphite Pencils from Spectrum Noir (available on HSN).  Add water to these pencils and watch the color bloom!

Pencil Coloring

Getting a little Spectrum Noir ColourBlend pencil coloring in.  The digi stamp is new from Some Odd Girl called Fishing Cat.  Sometimes just sitting and coloring is the perfect way to relax!

Spectrum Noir Graphite Pencils

Today I'm sharing my card featuring Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir new Colortint Graphite pencils used on some newspaper.  I had to use water very sparingly because of the newspaper but letting it dry every couple of minutes helped.  Adding water to the Colortint pencils really makes the color come out beautifully.

Black & White!

I love to use the colors black and white together, I think it looks so clean.  So I was excited to try it with the new metal dies from Crafter's Companion called Fluttering Frame and on the sides the die used is Arrangement of Butterflies.

You can get these dies on HSN.  Just think of the unlimited possibilities of things you can create with these!

New 'Materials'!

I adore these new material packs from Crafter's Companion.  There are 6 in all and each is very durable (color on them or die cut them), yet thin enough to use easily on your projects.  Above I used the Chalk Board.  The project below I used the Denim and Cork.

AquaBlend Pencils!

Here is an example of some of my work with the AquaBlend pencils from Spectrum Noir.  The top photo shows a progress shot.  I like to use a paint brush to blend the colors when I work with the pencils, being careful not to get carried away with the water. I am a little heavy handed with the water at times - oops!

This stamp is from one of the four new Spectrum Noir Colorista stamp sets that will be available on HSN on August 16.  You are going to want to grab these up quick because they are going to go fast!

Gather up your bright papers, ink, markers...and join the challenge.  To me rainbow colors are always bright and happy.  I used Tea Mouse hoping to motivate you to get your rainbow on.  You can use any image for Sasayaki Glitter's challenges so there is no excuse not to join in!

This card was created using the digi images Surfer Kody and Beach Mae.  They make such a cute pair heading to the beach.  Coloring was done using Copic Markers.
