Hipster Tom Cat

Playing with my Prismacolor pencils and just finished up the new digi from Some Odd Girl, Hipster Tom Cat.

I like the soft look I get with pencils, especially for animal fur. I colored this on X-press it paper which is very smooth, not much tooth.  But I like how he turned out.  More Hipster Cat projects to come!

This MUCH!

Today I'm sharing a Valentine card I made using another 'new to me' stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs, Foxy Friends.  I colored him using Prismacolor pencils. I intentionally kept the card simple because I thought it would be perfect for a guy.  Not to frilly, just sweet!

Coffee Please!

I'm on the blog today at Some Odd Girl sharing my Copic colored Coffee Lover Mae digi.  I absolutely love this new digi and will be inking her up again and again.

Just a reminder that Kristy, illustrator/owner of SOG, will be releasing one or two NEW digis each week, so check the store often.

I dig YOU!

Time to start thinking about Valentine cards again.  I was excited to play with a new to me stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs, Gopher.  I must admit, I did think he was a beaver even through the stamp name is Gopher.  Anyway, he makes such a cute little valentine for one of my favorite little guys.

He is colored with Copic Markers plus I used die cuts from Lawn Fawn and my silhouette cameo to create the card.

I'm entering this into the Mix It Up Challenge #27 at Sugar Pea Designs blog, theme is anything goes.

Celebrate and eat CAKE!

I colored Party Tia digi stamp from Some Odd Girl using Copic Markers.  This is such a fun new digi, you can almost hear that party horn tooting!

A Full Heart!

I created this ATC card for a swap at Vera Lane Studios.  I happened to have some modeling paste right in front of me when I read about the swap and thought....why not.

I created the background by distress inking patterned paper from 7 Gypsies.  Next I used modeling paste, glitter, and a stencil to create the raised background hexagons.  Tossed on some heart puffs and, of course, the doglet from Vera Lane Studio.  The sentiment is from Vera Lane too, it was printed, cut apart and dragged through ink.

Ta-DAH!
