Color Practice

 

I know I've mentioned that lately I have been practicing my coloring with Copic markers.  This adorable Gnome, by Conie Fong, really caught my eye he is so proud of his pumpkin!

Little Goblins!

I have kind of a theme going with cute Halloween lately.  What better way to practice using my Copics than coloring up some Sweet November stamps.  This is a combination of a few single stamps mixed together to create my spooky scene. 

The background is paper from Crafter's Companion, Enchanted Christmas paper pad.  I liked that it created a bit of a spooky background with no effort.  Someday I will branch into coloring backgrounds but until then I have PLENTY of paper to use.

Witchee Sybil and Poe

I had a great time coloring up Witchee Sybil and her pal Poe from Sweet November Stamps !  If you haven't shopped there yet you need to go check it out.  I adore their illustrations and the design team is sooo talented!  Their September release is amazing!

This was colored with Copic Markers which for the past 4 1/2 years have been in storage.  It was fantastic to get them out again and refilled (with plenty of spillage) and start playing with them again.  I hope to improve my coloring by doing a lot of practice so prepare yourself to see plenty of coloring here.

Let it snow - MAN!

Such a sweet collection of Snowman stamps!  I really can't decide which is my favorite set because they are all so adorable.  These color up quick to create a winter greeting card, holiday card or tag.  Be sure to grab these before they 'melt away'!

I made this card with my neice in mind who adores cats.  This was colored with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and is called Love in an Envelope!

 This card was made using My Kind of Crazy Stamp!  This was also colored with Spectrum Noir Illustrators and I have to admit when I saw this stamp set I new I had to have it.  We were constantly stepping on legos around here when our children were young - something you just don't forget!
