Scrappy Boy Stamps - May Guest Designer!

I am so delighted that I could be a Guest Designer for Scrappy Boy Stamps!  If you aren't familiar with this company, it's time to get acquainted because there is a wonderful, whimsical collection of themed stamps available there along with other goodies.

I was given the Coffee Girls stamp and die set to work with and I admit it wasn't until I was handling the stamps that I realized that this set reflects the TV show, The Gilmore Girls.  My first thought was to create a coffee shop but then I thought why not create a coffee trailer instead of a store.

The Coffee Girls stamp set has many fabulous sentiments included that reflect the Gilmore Girls TV show, I decided to make a card that is a nod to the actual show.  Do notice all those added sentiments around the gazebo.

The last card I'm sharing today featuring Coffee Girls is a bit quirky.  Sticking with the coffee theme I decided to create two large coffee cups and have a play with the accessory stamps until I liked the layout.  It may sound strange, but I really like arranging my images (it's a bit like playing with paper dolls) until I find what I like.  I never know before I start a card what images I will include from the stamp set I'm working with.

All of the Coffee Girls stamps were colored with Copic Markers and stamped with My Favorite Things Extreme Black ink pad on X-Press It cardstock.  If you are interested in Copic colors used feel free to email me and I'll gladly share the colors for the image you are interested in.

You're My Jam!

My sweet crafty friend sent me this La-La Land Crafts 2018 club kit which was very sweet of her!  I've been picking up older ones here and there to add to my collection - which I will say is growing.

I had fun creating this slimline card to use with these stamps. Another crafty friend gave me some dies when she was destashing - I have great crafty friends!  I really need to do some destashing... someday...

All the images were colored using Copic Markers:
Skin: E000, E01, E11, E13
Hair: YR23, YR24, E99
Clothes are all paper pieced.
Bears: E00, E31, E34, E35, E37, RV11
Jam:  Rv25, RV52, R17

Stand Tall!

I have had this giraffe paper for a while and when I realized how well it would go with Sweet Sentiments stamp set, Stick Your Neck Out I was excited I'd saved it - well really hoarded it.  The sentiment 'stand tall' is so appropriate for so many things - graduation, wedding, new job... always stand tall in life!

The patterned paper is from Carta Bella, the stamped image is colored with Copic markers, and the die is from Crafter's Companion.

Copic markers used:
Skin: E00. E11, E21, E13
Hair: B04, C7, C9
Clothes: B93, B95, B97
Giraffe: E81, Y32, Y35, YR22, YR27

Beach Day!

When I saw this older stamp set from La-La Land 2020 club kit I knew I needed it.  After some hunting I finally discovered it for sale on eBay and grabbed it.  I am a beach girl, and let's face it, those piglets are adorable! The stamps were colored using Copic Markers, and the card base is a die from My Favorite Things.  Paper used include Bo Bunny and Simple Stories. As usual I loved playing with the pieces moving them around until I liked the scene they created.   If you are interested in knowing what Copic makers were used please let me know, I'm happy to share!
